I'm working on getting on SSDI. Anyone familiar with that knows it's a long process. I have an attorney working for me so that's helping.

Thus far I've had 3 CT scans and from that was referred to a Cardiologist and a Pulmonologist.

The Cardiologist said I have an irregular heart beat, heart disease, a blockage at one of my arteries and one of my cholesterol levels is almost off the charts. Officially, his diagnosis stated that I have a “PATTERN CONSISTENT WITH PULMONARY DISEASE”. He stressed that, not me.

The Pulmonologist requires I get a Pulmonary Function Test first. And with all things considered, I discussed with my PCP the idea of getting a Cardiopulmonary Exercise Test too. She thinks it's a good idea so now I also have a referral for that.

I've had 2 MRI's and from that got a referral for a Neurologist.

I also have a referral to a Physical Therapist.

I currently have no insurance so this is all going through a charity and getting appointments through that takes longer than if I had my own insurance.

I've been a Machinist for most of my life (manuals and CNC's). The list of what I can do is quite extensive. In a nutshell, If it has an “on” / “off” button, I've probably run it. No matter what the material was needed, metals, plastic, rubber, kevlar, fiberglass, etc. Robots and lasers included.

But where I'm currently stuck there are very few jobs in that field and the few there are don't seem to think giving me a stool to sit on (instead of standing the whole day) is considered “reasonable accommodation”.

I also have plenty of forklift experience. But I can't do “Material Handler” or “Picker” type of jobs because they require too much off / on the lift and my physical liabilities keep me from doing that. Just moving stuff around I can do all day. But no work like that available near me.

I have several other physical issues. But if I can just get the things on my list below taken care of I can relax, quit stressing so much, sleep better and work on moving forward.

I'M ASKING FOR A HAND UP, not a hand out.

1.) First and foremost I need a job. I'm looking for a remote job doing research. I can research anything. I won't start listing possibilities because I don't want to pigeon hole myself. I can be contacted through this site and my YouTube channel here:

If I can get a job as a remote researcher then once I've made enough money to purchase a more reliable vehicle I will be able to travel for the research if need be. Personally, I'd really like to go check out the issue with Lake Arrowhead in California.

I don't want or need a brand new vehicle. Just something more reliable than the piece of junk jeep I have now.

2.) wp101 dot com membership

There are 3 options here: $12 monthly, $48 for 1 year or $98 for the lifetime membership.

I would very much prefer the lifetime deal. It would be the smartest and, overall, least expensive option. With this I can start building my own websites and be able to make some kind of regular income on my own. Of course, once I get a website put together I'll need some help with the hosting plan. But I'd prefer to get the wp101 course first and have a month or 2 to learn it all and get a site (or 2) set up while I check into options for hosting. I can just migrate my site(s) to the host when I'm ready.

I have several social media accounts and have been fiddling with getting a website up for awhile now. I understand the SEO and all of that stuff it's just getting the site itself together that's a problem. WordPress themselves aren't so great at keeping the tutorial updated and the YouTube “guru's” are worthless.

That's why I really just need an actual course.

I'm not stupid, just poor.

3.) $150 to keep my phone on for 3 months while I work on getting / keeping other stuff moving.

4.) $105 to start catching up on rent for my storage unit. (It's $50 a month and I haven't been able to make a payment since February. So I'm actually $300+ behind. It's a small Ma & Pa place out in the middle of nowhere. I've had the unit for 3+ years and my wife and kids ashes are in there so they are working with me. But I REALLY need to get them something soon. Please help me with that. The extra $5 is to cover the cost of a postal money order.)

5.) About $300 to cover my gas costs for a few months while I work on catching everything up.

6.) I can actually get into the Physical Therapist right away if I can pay the $230 they demand up front for the initial exam. If I can get that done then I am absolutely certain that will speed up my SSDI claim. If it would be easier, I could get the contact info for someone who might be willing to cover that cost for me and you could just pay them directly.

I really don't care which way this gets done because I need it done. I'm not here to BS or con anyone. I just need a little help to get back up out of this rut.

With about $2,700 I can cover #'s 2 (lifetime) and 3-5 for about 3 months while i work on the websites (should cover a hosting plan too), get me caught up and a few months ahead on the storage unit and (hopefully) still have enough to get my fuel pump replaced (see below).

I still desperately need some remote work researching to keep funding myself.

There are a few other expenses that I would really appreciate some help with but the items listed above are the most important most immediately.

With the exception of the FUEL PUMP.

When that goes out I'm literally dead in the water.

Battery: $309.

If someone wants to just order the battery from Advance, O'Reilly or Auotzone, (they're all the same price), I could pick it up at a local store. Anywhere within about 20 miles of 37615 zip code in Tennessee USA would work for me.

Tires: $750

(The extra is to cover the additional fees) For an extra $160 I could get my spare tire replaced also.

Brakes: (About $600 for the parts. I was ASE certified, I can install them myself.)

I'm not expecting anyone to pay for all of it. I'm hoping that several folks will pitch in. A total of $2700ish would cover all of my most important, most immediate bills and give me some breathing room for about 3 months while I catch up and move forward to get myself out of this horrific situation I'm in.

But, honestly, I'm not holding my breath waiting for anyone to bother helping me. I gave up on believing in human kindness long ago.
