Hi I am James Rex I am 58 years old and father of two sons

Here is my story and some information as well

Dec 2022 After having broken my left foot in March 2021 in December 2021

I was in the Hospital undergoing an amputation below the knee on my left leg. Due to a foot infection that got deep in the foot. I was given a wheelchair and prosthetic and was able to go home and started back to work that same week. I was able to keep my head above water as far as finances go. paying off bills. I work as much as I can 10-12 hrs a day every day I can provide a schedule as an example this is 25th of Apr 2023

Dr and hospitals are expensive and going to new appointments take time from working Travel in a wheelchair van is upwards of $80.00 $180.00 RT my Ins doesn't cover.

My leg healed and shrank more than normal and i require a new prosthetic leg also went through a divorce so have to start all the medical billing from Scratch as of Sep 2022

Fast Forward I live alone and was found passed out after 48 hrs at home and went back into the hospital 02 Feb 2023 This time into Cardiac ICU as I had another infection in my good right leg and was septic affecting my heart. I am home and working again just falling behind with all these expenses.
I was advised to have Lap Band or Sleeve surgery done now ASAP to help with my health conditions High BP and Diabetes as well as my weight for my legs
All Donations will go to pending bills and I will adjust my goal to only come out even and get caught up
UPDATE:
While in the hospital for a simple procedure last week my heart stopped for 16 minutes. They managed to restart my heart. I spent 4 days sedated and on a ventilator. Sunday May 7 I was removed from sedation and taken off of the ventilator and breathing on my own. I will transfer to a rehab facility for therapy. Blessed to be alive and lots of work to do.
