Edit: I’ve bumped up the goal a small bit due to even more therapists being added to my ever-growing list of doctors whom I have to meet with weekly. Hi, my name's James Fuhring, I am a DJ/Producer known as Red Army, formerly of such bands as Mohinder, Jenny Piccolo, Makara, and The Anasazi. For over 28 years now I have been dealing with constant kidney stones and have seen every urologist and specialist under the sun. I have finally been properly diagnosed with Primary Hyperoxalura. Instead of copy and pasting some high-level medical jargon, this means my liver is lacking the enzyme to properly break down oxalates (which are the main causes of kidney stones). I have lived an oxalate free diet for more than a decade now yet I still produce kidney stones monthly, to the size where I need surgery to have them extracted. I need a series of Hepatitis B procedures to jumpstart my enzymes, but there is no guarantee these will work. I am eventually going to need both a liver and kidney transplant and these Hep B shots are practically putting a band-aid on the situation. Over the past month alone, I have passed 8 kidney stones, with no ending in sight. I am only asking for help to offset the costs of these procedures.
