Following the undisputed success of the first The Electric Eels Triathlon last year we go again! The one and only amazing, fun and sporty 2nd Electric Eels Triathlon is nearly upon us with only a few weeks/days/hours to go depending on when you're reading this.

This is the clubs only annual sponsored event to raise vital funds The all abilities 'Try a Triathlon', giving the swimmers a chance to try a triathlon style event and have buckets of fun along the way.

We're gonna work George to the bone for this one, he'll be swimming of course, running*, and static rowing machine and diverse other activities.

Please consider sponsoring the boy, sharing this fundraiser, coming along to cheer them on or pop round and give George a Rocky Balboa style pep talk, whatever you're comfortable with.

Electric Eels is a family orientated club specifically for children and adults with Down Syndrome. We cater for experienced and non-swimmers alike, who wish to develop their fitness, core strength and improve technical aspects of swimming in a safe friendly environment.

Funds raised though will be used for vital and increasing costs such as pool hire, gala registration and volunteer training and certification. If you know a young person who could volunteer, please hit us up!
