On Monday, June 2nd, sweet Copper was tragically hit by a car. His amazing owners, Dom and Alexis, rushed him straight to Tufts for emergency surgery to reattach his femur to his hip and pelvis and stabilize the broken bones. That kind of surgery is expensive and his recovery will require a lot of time and care but Copper is strong and has the best caregivers.

Dom and Alexis are seriously some of the kindest people you’ll ever meet and most of you know— always volunteering, dropping everything to help others, and honestly, they would never ask for this help themselves.
