Con profunda tristeza y un dolor que cuesta comprender, queremos compartir con ustedes una tragedia que ha marcado nuestras vidas. El pasado domingo 27 de julio, nuestra querida hija Karim y nieta Shaina perdieron la vida en un trágico accidente automovilístico cerca de Seattle, Washington, cuando iban a trabajar durante la madrugada.

Una conductora en estado de ebriedad ingresó a la autopista en sentido contrario e impactó de frente el vehículo donde viajaban, arrebatándoles la vida de manera instantánea.

El dolor que sentimos como familia es inmenso e indescriptible. Sin embargo, nos aferramos a la esperanza bendita de que, en la gloriosa segunda venida de nuestro Señor, Él las resucitará para vida eterna.

No es fácil para nosotros hacer este tipo de solicitudes, pero debido a lo inesperado de esta tragedia, hemos tenido que viajar de urgencia desde California hasta Washington para encargarnos de los arreglos funerarios y otras gestiones necesarias. Por ello, humildemente pedimos su apoyo —cualquier ayuda, por mínima que sea, será de gran bendición para nosotros.

Dear Friends and Loved Ones,

With deep sorrow and a pain that is hard to comprehend, we want to share with you a tragedy that has marked our lives. This past Sunday, July 27th, our beloved daughter Karim and granddaughter Shaina lost their lives in a tragic car accident near Seattle, Washington, as they were heading to work in the early morning hours.

A driver under the influence entered the highway going the wrong way and collided head-on with the vehicle they were in, taking their lives instantly.

The pain we feel as a family is immense and indescribable. However, we cling to the blessed hope that, in the glorious second coming of our Lord, He will resurrect them to eternal life.

It is not easy for us to make this kind of request, but due to the unexpected nature of this tragedy, we had to travel urgently from California to Washington to take care of funeral arrangements and other necessary matters. For this reason, we humbly ask for your support — any help, no matter how small, will be a great blessing to us.
