Update: It is with heavy hearts that we share that our beloved, Mattie Palmore, has transitioned from labor to reward.

Mattie lived a life of purpose and service. She dedicated many years to Fairfax County as a Magistrate, serving her community with wisdom, fairness, and compassion. Beyond her professional service, she was a champion for survivors of domestic violence—organizing events, raising awareness, and offering encouragement and hope to those rebuilding their lives. She truly embodied what it means to have a servant’s heart.

Although she has a small insurance policy, it will not be enough to cover her final expenses and provide the homegoing service, that reflects the dignity and love she showed others.
