She doesn’t trust him. Not after Barbados, anyway.
Five friends travel to a country estate for a birthday party turned surprise wedding. There’s a violent, spoiled boy, his alcoholic sidekick, and some freak…and that’s just the boys. Lydia is fresh out of rehab, but that’s the only thing about her that’s rehabilitated. The seemingly innocent Verity may know more than she’s letting on. Everyone’s in love with everyone, and everyone hates everyone. But desire and violence are two sides of the same coin, as they learn throughout the fated, whiskey-drenched night. Debauchery is expected, but what isn’t expected is for the blushing young bride to turn up dead. Who killed her? …….. maybe we all did. Trust is a subversive, dark comedic indictment of gender, wealth, and privilege in a world where consequences don’t exist for those who can write a big enough cheque.
