On the morning of Monday, September 21st, our family experienced an unimaginable and heartbreaking loss. Trumaine “Congo” Kyte was tragically taken from us, leaving behind three children, step-children, family, friends, and a community who loved him deeply.

His sudden and devastating loss has left us heartbroken and struggling to process the pain of losing someone so unexpectedly. During this incredibly difficult time, our family is coming together to support Trumaine’s children and loved ones while also helping with the unexpected financial expenses that come with such a heartbreaking loss.

We are asking our family, friends, community, and everyone who knew and loved Trumaine to please consider supporting us. No contribution is too small. The funds raised will help cover Trumaine’s funeral and memorial expenses. Any funds remaining will go toward supporting his three children and step-children as they navigate life without their father and loved one.

We are also asking anyone who may have witnessed or heard anything related to what happened, or who may have information, photographs, or video footage that could assist with the investigation, to please come forward to the police.
