Trujillo Honduras X-Ray Fund

I’m apologizing upfront for this long rant but please stick with it and read. 

I know lockdowns in the States Canada and Europe have been severe but we’ve had it pretty bad down here in Honduras. We’re only allowed out once every two weeks and it goes according to our last digit of your ID.

The medical system here is so defunct and dilapidated that the United States Embassy has ordered all remaining Americans to leave the country because of the growing spread of Covid-19. The warning goes on to state that the hospital systems are going to collapse. US military airbase in the central part of the country have flown all it’s Choppers out to El Salvador.

It’s bad....

That’s why I am reaching out to all of my friends and social media contacts to help me find parts for an x-ray machine for the town hospital.

It’s pitiful and sad to say that Honduras received $1.2 billion in Covid aid to help with the dilapidated medical system and the government has been stealing it and not serving its people.

You will see in the pics below of the preliminary check in for the hospital that look like a MASH UNIT VIETNAM ERA tents.

Supposedly the government had acquired an order from the Turkish government of mobile hospitals equaling $72 million. It was all a lie and the Turkish government confirmed that no such order was ever placed. Money is nowhere I be found.

Yesterday I rushed my foreman to the hospital because of chest pain’s and shortness of breath. When I spoke with the doctor and asked what was needed, he said we need an x-ray done of his heart and lungs. EXCEPT the hospital DOESN’T have a functioning x-ray machine for the past three years!!!

How do I know this?!

BECAUSE I HAD AN PNEUMONIA AND DENGUE AT THE SAME TIME AND I COULDN’T GET AN X-RAY DONE FOR MYSELF!!! I had to go 3 HOURS AWAY to get proper treatment from a private hospital.

The corruption here is so blatant and revolting I have decided to take matter into my own hands and see if I could help...... and I’m reaching out to you.

I know the world is hurting and in pain, however, I still believe in our humanity. I just want the town to have a fighting chance even if it’s just to check and see if people’s lungs and worsening or improving. To see if a broken bone needs pins of can be set, if a person can be checked quickly if there’s a dark unfriendly mass.

Just a chance..... to live.....

Please let me know if you have any contacts to find a donated piece to these 2 machines below. The newest one was donated by a Great team of missionaries that came to Honduras from Arkansas for 20 years which stopped coming three years ago.
