Support community by rescuing surplus food and reducing waste

We are proud to support RECUP, an association created to tackle three urgent challenges of our time: food waste, the climate crisis, and social exclusion.

As TrueLayer, we are genuinely excited to take part in this initiative for the very first time, and to do so fully independently here in Milan. This project represents a meaningful step for us, not just as a company, but as a community that wants to make a tangible, local impact.

Every day, huge amounts of perfectly good food are wasted, while many people struggle to access nutritious meals. Through RECUP, surplus food is rescued and redistributed, giving value back to food and to all the resources used to produce it, water, energy, work, and time.

By supporting this initiative, we want to contribute to a model that is more sustainable, inclusive, and responsible, where food becomes a tool for care, connection, and solidarity rather than waste.
