True North Youth Ranch, Inc. is a Christian, nonprofit organization that helps those suffering from a number of mental issues including abuse, trauma, PTSD and other issues using equine therapy and the EAGALA Model. We will also organize programs for inner city children who don't get the chance to breath the fresh air of the great outdoors or interact with the wonder that is a horse. Each donation will be used to care for the horses, maintain the facilities and getting our message out and creating new programs.
In addition our organization helps save horses that have been neglected, abused or heading to slaughter. We give them a loving home where they will experience no more trauma or fear, neglect or abuse and they will be loved and cared for the rest of their lives. At the same time these majestic creatures will be incorporated into our programs and serve alongside their human counterparts helping humans help themselves.
