Hi my name is Desiree and I am the granddaughter of Rodrigo and Lucille Beltran. Our family always said that their love story was of that like the romantic film, “The Notebook” because of how deeply they loved each other and in the end…couldn’t live without one another. My Grandma passed away Thursday February 3rd and just 22 hours later, my Grandfather joined her in heaven…reunited with his one true love, which will forever be eternal.
Never in a million years would we think that we would lose the two most important people in our family. Not only that, they were the BEST pastors for over 50 years at The Upper Room Church in Hayward, Ca. They served the Lord faithfully, as well as their members and the community around them. They never complained when they had to leave in the middle of the night to pray for someone at the hospital who was sick, or when they had to give others rides to church or when they took others in as their own family. Countless times they gave over the years whether financially, furniture, groceries, cars, houses! They literally gave to anyone in need without any expectation in return.
If you knew them, you would know how much they love the Lord so much and they dedicated their whole lives to Jesus. We know we will see them again, and they're in a better place. But unfortunately here on this Earth, the financial burden of burials is overwhelming on top of grief. My grandfather had life insurance but when we called and checked they said it "expired" because he didn't keep up on it, as well as not being able to pay for the burial.
We are asking anyone, whether or not you knew them...to please donate and share this link with those you know. Even if it is a $1 donation it all adds up and we appreciate anything.

Now they are walking the streets of gold , hand in hand…completely healed ❤️
if you feel led in your heart to help us bury them the proper way , we thank you from the bottom of our hearts ❤️
