Help a Brother out! Troy needs us!

Dear freinds, family and whoever may be reading this. Thanks in advance for considering to help my brother.
My name is Robin and Troy is my little brother. He is my only sibling so I take my role of big sister very seriously. Troy has even accused me of being a bit bossy.
Please keep reading :)
Troy loves to hang out with friends and family, work hard, fight fires, save lives, watch the Buckeyes and the Mountaineers (he lives in West Virginia), ride 4-wheelers, win corn hole tournaments, take people out on his boat, but mostly he loves spending time with his 7 year old son Harley and wife Jan.
Lately he has not been able to do all the things he loves because of his health.
Our worst nightmare occured this summer when he lost his sight and a small part of his foot due to an infection, both complications from Type I Diabetes. He was also sick from End Stage Renal Failure and needed a kidney. It is hard to watch someone endure weeks and months of darkness and dispair. After several surgeries he slowly regained his sight and his foot heal and he was able to walk. But he still needed a kidney.
I kicked into big sister mode and offered mine. After months of testing and lots of lots of tears I was not a candidate. Our cousin Michele and her husband Steve volunteered. Steve was a match and Troy recieved his kidney on January 27th. We are eternally grateful for his gift of life!
As Troy is recovering we remain hopeful that soon he will be back to himself, fighting fires and helping others....
but first I am asking for your help. Any amount would help.
The website www.transplantliving.org estimates that it costs approximately $263,000 per person for a kidney transplant. The medicine alone may cost nearly $20,000 per year. Troy and Jan have great insurance but some medicines will not be covered at some point and there are so many other expenses.

Thank you so much for reading Troy's story. Not to be bossy but please share this with your friends and family.
Sincerely, Robin
