Troy's Scoliosis Surgery

Troy has cerebral palsy. And has been faced with many complications. Right now he is struggling with severe scoliosis. He recently found out that his scoliosis is compressing one of his lungs. Which is impacting his breathing. The urgency for the surgery has increased with this sudden unexpected news. Troy's daddy is serving in the United States Navy. And is currently stationed in another state. Leaving his mom with Troy, 2 brothers and baby sister. She is trying to round up funds to contribute to the unexpected costs.

Lodging - mom is unable to have baby sister stay in the hospital overnight the minimum 5 days. The respite provider has offered to stay with baby so mom can continue to nurse her and be at hospital with Troy.

Flights - if we can raise enough money we would like to send the 2 brothers to California, with grandma and grandpa for 2 weeks. That way mom can solely focus on Troy's surgery, getting Troy home and settled. And of course baby sister.

I feel like I'm already asking for a lot. But the last bit of funds would pay for copays of equipment that's expected to come. And medications upon discharge. Travel expenses, ferry, bridge tolls (if ferry is unavailable) and gas. As well as anything that would make Troy's life more comfortable during this painful recovery. God forbid if there's anything unexpected and he stays in the hospital longer that would increase all lodging expenses.
