It is with heavy hearts we share the sudden loss of Troy James Upton, age 34, of Paradise, California. Troy passed away after he was struck by a hit-and-run driver in Paradise on October 4, 2025, ending his life far too soon.

Troy was a loving husband, son, brother, and loyal friend, he had the soul of an angel and touched the lives of everyone he met. His unexpected passing has left his wife Marissa not only greiving the loss of her best friend but also facing overwhelming burial expenses, and medical bills that, no wife should ever have to bear alone.

In times like this, community is everything, and now more than ever we need to come together as a community as we do so well.
