Help support Troy Slater

Hi, my name is Alexandra Slater. Troy Slater is my dad. As most of you know he has been diagnosed with stage 4 incurable cancer. It’s metastatic colon cancer from his first bout of cancer from the beginning of last year. It has since spread to his liver and became stage four incurable. He is unable to work anymore,and CPP disability turned down his application for the first application,enough though his doctors have said that his condition is prolonged, meaning that “ the disability is long term and of indefinite duration or is likely to result in death”. Because he was working a bit,they turned down his request. We are concerned about his stress level,because of the fact that he has no money coming in and pays rent and numerous bills. We are hoping that friends and loved ones will come forward and help him. Stress is the last thing he needs. He is proud and would never ask for help on his own. All funds will be used to pay for rent, car payments, insurance and cable and phone. I just want my dad not to be stressed. Thank you for being there for my dad.
