Troy Norpel needs our help. Troy, the son of Rich and Diane Norpel of Bellevue Iowa, has Progressive Multiple Sclerosis. It is a degenerative disease. Troy has lesions on his brain and cervical spine. He has early dementia cognitive changes as well as muscle weakness and problems with speech and chewing/swallowing. He is now having left temporal lobe disturbances and has inflammation of his brain and possibly elsewhere. He has been off work for an extended period of time due to the severity of his symptoms. We don't know when he will be able to leave the hospital but when he does he will be sent to an inpatient rehab facility for a few weeks to work on physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy.
All money raised will go to Troy's wife Sarah and his children Aurora (17) and Jayce (14) to help with medical expenses and general living expenses while Troy is not working.
