A Safe Place, a 501(C)3 TNR organization, has agreed to help trap the cats in the woods by Petsmart. All donations go directly to A Safe Place for the care of these cats.

The caretaker of the PetSmart Area Woods cats, is now facing issues with the management of nearby businesses.

'A Safe Place' will trap these animals and then take them up north to be spayed or neutered and receive vaccinations.

The caretaker believes the cat called "White Cloud" will need dental care. He is unable to consume dry cat food.

We are hoping to raise the additional funds needed for tooth extraction, and a full dental.

Whatever monies go unused (if any) will fund TNR initiatives.

We do not know what the future holds for these cats, however,

a better life awaits once the testosterone levels in these cats drop. Hormone-driven behaviors like marking and aggression become lessor, fewer unwanted animals are born, and better, healthier lives are to be had.

Let's not forget about the caretaker!

She has shown up for these cats, rain or shine.

Her kindness in the Manhattan, KS. community deserves to be rewarded.

Not only is she the caretaker of the PetSmart Woods Cats, she works out of pocket to help animals and TNR without an attachment to any organization.

She is a true friend to the animals.
