Troy Lindsey's Memorial

As many of you may know, Troy Lindsey - beloved father, Pop Pop, husband, son, brother, uncle, father-in-law and friend - passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Oct. 16.

Troy and Lisa, like so many, were hit hard by the pandemic and had just started to rebuild their lives. Now, with the sudden and unexpected nature of Troy's passing,  the Lindsey family has urgent financial needs for a memorial service, final expenses/bills, and additional expenses as Lisa rebuilds her life without Troy.

Any amount you can chip in his deeply appreciated and all proceeds will go to Lisa to cover these costs.

To know Troy was to love him. He was always there to make you laugh - and to say his infectious smile and those "best damn hugs ever" will be sorely missed is an understatement.

Troy was an incredibly hardworking, selfless man who lived for his family first and foremost. He and Lisa were high school sweethearts and absolute soulmates, married for 35 years. He loved playing golf with his Dad and just being with family whenever he could.

His most cherished role was that of father and grandfather. His children will always remember how special their Dad made them each feel. Troy intentionally and consistently carved out special time with each of his children doing what they loved to do best together. Watching sports and cheering on the Cubs with Ryan. Spending weekends fishing with Carter. And, countless special dates with his beloved little girl, Sara. And so much more. He encouraged their dreams and believed wholeheartedly in each of them. He was never shy about saying how proud he was of the adults they had become. He left this world knowing each of his children had found loving partners to carry forth in life with.

God made sure his last weekend on earth was a perfect one in Troy's book. He spent a magical weekend in Dallas with his wife and kids doing his favorite things: playing golf, watching sports, and being nonstop Pop Pop with his adoring grandson, Luke. Becoming a Pop Pop was one of the greatest joys of his life. He and Luke's mutual adoration for each other was a sight to see and something the family will always treasure.

The family is heartbroken, hurt, and lost without their rock. They are deeply grateful for any contribution you can make.
