Troy Boyle is in Severe Need of Dental Work
Those who know me have heard this story so many times. My teeth have been ruined by genetics and smoking. I smoked for 38 years. I did manage to quit on January 1, 2017, but it was too late to save my teeth. I never had good, strong teeth, and even though I brushed every day, periodontal disease set in and decay below the gum line caused me to need to have many of my teeth pulled.
I currently have a total of 12 teeth. 11 on the top and only 1 tooth on the bottom. I am unable to chew anything that requires molars. I've been eating soft foods only for three years.
I have tried multiple dentists and multiple funding options, including sliding scale and CareCredit and dental insurance - but the work I need is both extensive and much of it isn't covered. I simply don't have enough money to do it.
I need 4 things:
- oral surgery to remove 2 submerged and impacted wisdom teeth (dentists will not make dentures for a patient with unerupted molar teeth).
- oral surgery to remove a large (3 cm.) tumor in my left lower jaw.
- extraction of all 12 remaining teeth.
- a full set of upper and lower dentures
Warning. You may find the accompanying image disgusting. I know I do. I'm sorry to put this image in your mind, but I feel it is important for you to realize how badly my teeth are decayed, and how desperately I need your help.
