Troy and Karri Childers
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Kaitlin. I have started this GoFundMe donation account for my parents, Troy and Karri Childers. They have been greatly impacted by the COVID-19 shutdown. My parents Troy & Karri Childers are some of those people who are being greatly affected by this shut down.
My dad Troy has been fully unemployed since the beginning of March due to the shutdown. The state of Hawaii has not issued any sort of unemployment/relief since his chapel was shut down. The Wedding Chapel is still closed with no known date of reopening. The financial hardship of this has greatly impacted them.
They have a small home in Minnesota they bought as a fixer-upper several years ago. They have been residing there since early March in hopes of Hawaii reopening the state. With all unknown factors due to this pandemic, the uncertainty of any future shutdown rules and regulations, the possibility arises that their need to continue to reside in Minnesota may be prolonged. Their home has no central AC/Heat. With only 3 months remaining before winter, this has created yet another deep concern.
Due to travel restrictions/fees associated with Covid-19 they have been unable to return home, requiring them to continue to reside in Minnesota. They were quoted $9,000 for Central Heat installation in order to continue living in the home throughout the winter season.
The costs of trying to maintain the expenses of their permanent residence in Hawaii while making their small home in Minnesota livable, in addition to covering payments, vehicles, and daily necessities are growing rapidly harder each day.
If anyone of you are able to bless them in any way, it would mean more than you know. No amount would be too big or too small. We all stand firm in our belief in the power of prayer. We ask that you all stand with us in prayer and ask for God’s direction, mercy and blessings to show His hand in this situation. We ask that everyone help us in protecting their privacy by respectfully keeping this matter anonymous. Both Troy & Karri have no knowledge of this attempt in reaching out, in fear that they would turn down any form of help if offered. Thank you all for your prayers & standing with us in faith.
If you have any questions please private message me on Facebook.
