TROY AND JULIE REYNOLDS, FIRE RELIEF
As word has gotten out regarding the recent fires in Talent, Oregon many of you asked how you can help Troy and Julie Reynolds. As some of you know they lost ALL of their personal belongings including one of their cars, in the Tragic September 8, 2020 Fire in Southern Oregon.
They had gone into Medford for a doctor appointment that morning and were not home to evacuate properly so were not able to salvage anything. It wasn’t until later that day it was confirmed their rented house, along with all the contents burned down along with all 69 of their neighbors’ homes.
Troy (80) and Julie (76) are retired, longtime residents of the Ashland and Talent communities. Troy was a business owner and Julie taught for many years, later becoming the principal of Ashland High School. They raised their children in Ashland and became a valued part of the community. Many of you will recall they have spent a good part of their life serving and giving tirelessly to their community. They both served on countless committees and volunteer service organizations, always stepping up for friends, family and anyone in need.
Having given so much of themselves back to their community they are so deserving of assistance at a time like this. I can’t even begin to put a value on the loss of all their personal property including furniture, family heirlooms, clothes and kitchenware. To have this level of loss for such kind, loving and generous people is just unthinkable.
