As many of you know, Troy Amos, the father of my niece and nephew passed away unexpectedly on December 26th. I didn't get to see or visit Troy much in his last years of life but one thing I knew about him was that he'd have still given me the shirt off his back, if I had needed it. At his core, that is who Troy was. He was also a genuine lover-- of his kids, of motorcycles, and of a good time. In these last few weeks after his death, what we are coming to find out is that he wasn't much of a planner. He wasn't planning on passing this soon. He was also underemployed for the last couple years and so he had no life insurance or benefits that we know of to cover the cost of his funeral and other expenses. I have started this gofundme campaign to help ease the financial burden of Troy's passing. If you feel called to help Maggie and the kids in this capacity, please donate here. Feel free to reach out to me directly if you'd like to write a check. Or you can Venmo her directly at

Many people have reached out asking what they can do. This is what you can do. No amount is too small or too large. And of course, if you are unable to help, we understand that too. Either way, please share this campaign on your socials. We know that many people loved Troy. His service will be at 11am on January 11th at Roberts Blue Barnet, please come and share your stories or just come, listen, and just be together.
