Hi friends, it feels very uncomfortable for me to come on here asking for help, but my back is against a wall. If you know me, you know my dog, Trout. He’s truly my heart and soul.

I found out yesterday that he has a torn CCL (the doggy version of an ACL). He needs immediate knee surgery to repair this injury. This really couldn’t have hit me at a worse time, as it’s slow season in Nashville and I’ve been doing my best to financially navigate living back and forth between Nash & Japan. I’ve decided to set up this GoFundMe to try to help with this very unexpected and expensive surgery. My vet has quoted me at roughly 4300 dollars for the surgery alone; this isn’t including the many other pre and post-op appointments or physical therapy that he will need as well.

I completely understand that many of us are facing tight budgets and donating to this may not be feasible.
