On December 31, 2025, brothers Shane Trout (26) and Seth Trout (24) were involved in a devastating head-on dirt bike crash at their cousin’s home in Westminster, Maryland.

Both Shane and Seth were critically injured and had to be flown together by helicopter to Shock Trauma in Baltimore, MD. They have been hospitalized since New Year’s Eve and have already endured surgeries, with more still ahead.

Shane broke both of his forearms, dislocated his right wrist, and suffered lacerations on his face and knee. He has already undergone surgery on both arms and is facing at least one additional upcoming procedure.

Seth broke his right femur, forearm, kneecap, and part of his thumb was severely injured. Seth has already had surgeries on his femur, kneecap, and forearm, with another surgery still to come.

As you can imagine, the medical expenses are overwhelming between:

-Emergency helicopter transport

-Extended hospital stays

-Multiple surgeries and scans

-Ongoing and future medical care

-Possible physical therapy and rehabilitation
