As the owner/operator of Tropea, I would like to take the opportunity to say thank you for all the kind words the community has shared with us about what made Tropea special to you. We were all shocked this morning when we heard the news that the restaurant had been destroyed due to a fire, but we are already talking about plans to rebuild! The messages from the community have shown us that Tropea means just as much to you as it does to the staff. Unfortunately, our staff now have to face a hardship that is going to greatly impact their lives, as they will no longer have a pay check to rely on while we wait to open our doors again. We considered our staff family and therefore are asking for the community that they enjoyed serving so much to give what they can during this unexpected time. Our staff would greatly appreciate any help you can give and every penny will go towards ensuring they are taken care of. Thank you for again for all your support and we can’t wait to see you all again when we open our doors.
