Hi, my name is Emmanuel, and I’m raising funds so i can have my 17½-year-old dog, Trooper, be put to sleep peacefully in our home.

Trooper is suffering from a severe, progressive liver infection, a n inflamed, failing pancreas and is in significant pain. His quality of life has declined significantly and the only way to end his suffering is to ensure safe passage across the rainbow bridge.

Trooper came into my life in March 2021 unexpectantly , when a hospice patient of mine entrusted him to me before she passed away. Since then, we have made so many beautiful, wonderful memories together, and Trooper has carried me thru my darkest days with his unconditional love. I didn't save Trooper- he saved me.

The cost of in-home euthanasia is $600–$800, which I’m struggling to afford after spending all of my savings on his last vet bill, and I have stayed home from work to care for him in his time of need. Trooper has been clinging to me for dear life since his decline, and I cannot bring my self to leave his side for even just a moment.

I want Trooper’s final moments to be calm and familiar, with me holding him, not in a stressful clinic. Trooper deserves a dignified, compassionate ending after all of the joy he has brought to my life.
