Trooper Brian S. Buchanan Family Assistance Fund

Trooper Brian S. Buchanan has been with the New York State Police since 2013 and is a proud graduate of the 199 Class. Brian has also been fighting the good fight against Conjunctival Melanoma since 2016. In 2020, his entire right eye was removed to attempt to prevent further metastasis, and after a lengthy fight with NYSP to return to work full and strenuous, Brian returned to SP Wilton and the State Police Underwater Recovery Team. After multiple additional surgeries, the melanoma has again advanced further, and his battle continues.

Though Brian would probably hate the idea of a GoFundMe started on his behalf- the SP Wilton crew felt strongly about assisting the Buchanan family with things like babysitting expenses for his triplet toddler sons, travel expenses for future appointments, and delivered and prepared meals!
