On Saturday October 17, 2020 Trooper Brian Douglas (Illinois State Police) was involved in a tragic off-duty motocross accident.  He has been hospitalized since with serious injuries.  Brian is married with a son who is 9 years old and a daughter who is 11 years old who all need your support.  His wife is a secretary at a local elementary school.  Please consider helping this family with the severe financial strain so they can work on the emotional and physical healing process.

Brian is a proud member of the local off-road Jeep club, assistant coach for his daughter's softball team and a graduate of Pittsfield High School.

Brian is a graduate of Illinois State Police Cadet Class 123 and has served with distinction in patrol Districts 7 and 20.  He serves as a Field Training Officer, Range Officer, Physical Fitness Instructor and was the District 20 Officer of the Year in 2017.  He has been a great co-worker and friend to his peers.
