Hello Scouts, parents, and friends of Troop 20,

Recently, many communities have been devastated by the Los Angeles wildfires. Upwards of 200,000 people have been forced to evacuate their homes and over 100,000 structures have been destroyed as of January 14. Therefore, I think it's necessary that we do some sort of effort to give any help that we can.

I have chosen the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation due to their work in helping firefighters contain the several fires that have devastated the Los Angeles area in the past few weeks.

As a Troop, I believe that we should do whatever we can to help first responders, and any donation of any size is appreciated.
