Troop 100 Stolen Equipment Trailer
Donation protected
Hi, My name is Pete Certo. I am the Scoutmaster of Troop 100 in Marlton (Evesham), NJ. On Sunday, March 24th, while working on a service project at our church (St. Issac Jogues in Marlton, NJ), we discovered that our trailer was missing. No one in the troop has any idea what happened to it. It's hard to believe that someone would steal from a church/Boy Scouts but it seems that is exactly what happened. We are fundraising to replace the trailer and its contents. We need to replace, tents, tarps, camping stoves, propane tanks, tables, cookware, canopies, etc. The Troop uses the trailer at every monthly campout and during our week-long summer camp trip.
UPDATE:
Thank you everyone for your generosity. The outpouring of support from family, friends and our community has been overwhelming and humbling.
We have good news to report. The NJ state police were able to locate our trailer. It was vandalized but we were able to get it back to our church. Our next step will be to have repairs made.
Some equipment was left in the trailer but most of the essential gear is gone.
