Aprils Dads House Fire Fix Fund
Donation protected
Dear everyone,
I am a coworker of April Everman's. Her dad's house recently caught fire. The home wasn't totally burned down but had enough damage to make staying there impossible. The home insurance doesn't cover motel stays, only structural damage. April's Dad also has end stage liver disease and is on the transplant waiting list. He was barely ablet o make it out of the basement after the fire began. There is electrical damage, plumbing damage and the furnace has to be replaced. Any amount you could give would help defray the out of pocket costs to make the home livable again. Aprl's dad had just spent $200.00 on groceries which were ruined when the elctricty went off. April is a very quiet, very consientious, and very good at her job. She is a very rare type of person who doesn't have anything bad to say about anything. She happily does her job and lives a simple life. She is part time as a reserach assistant which doesn't pay well. Since her Dad is no longer able to work, his limited income doesn't allow for these huge extra expendatures. April and her Dad are good people who deserve a little help and a break!
These funds are needed immediately to help with food, the motel stay, cleaning the undamaged things in the house so they doen't smell like smoke, fixing the electrical and the plumbing systems, and hopefully a new furnace.
I am donating $100.00 to start. I hope anyone who sees this will donate any amount- a dollar! April and her Dad would be ovewhelmed if we all kicked in to help them out at this difficult time.
