Bike Ride cross America for Charity

Hello, my name is Todd Hansen. During this summer, I will be riding my bike across the country, from Los Angeles to New York, to raise money for 3 charities. I'll be doing this through an organization called OnePulse. The charities in question are the National Dog Mill Rescue, The Young and the Brave and The Fuller Center for Housing.
I'm taking on this challenge for a few reasons, most of which is my dad. An avid bicyclist in his day, he made a similar trip during the bicentennial (better known as the bikecentennial) in 1976. He unfortunately died of colon cancer in 1993. I've always wanted to do a cross country bike trip, just like he did. I found OnePulse, and through them I can complete this trip, and also raise money for cancer victims through The Young and the Brave.
My family has also always loved and cared for many pets and animals in general. Both my mom and sister work in veterinary hospitals, and being able to raise money for an organization that helps dogs in need just feels like a contribution I need to make.
Please help me complete this challenge!
