On January 26, 2023 at 3:58pm we sadly lost our baby girl Damari Monaè Carter. She was 5 years old and so full of life! Her impact on our lives, was beyond her years and she will be deeply missed! In her passing, we are reminded that this life is so precious and so fragile. This loss has left a hole that will never be filled in the hearts that we’re blessed to meet her. She was indeed the life of the party, the tiktok star! This has crushed her mom and sisters to pieces.

On Monday January 23, 2023, Mari woke up that morning feeling sick her mom took her to the emergency room and once she arrived she went into cardiac arrest, they then gave her cpr. With less oxygen to her brain it caused swelling on her brain. Two tests were performed to determine if she was brain dead and unfortunately on Thursday she was pronounced brain dead. Mari never gave up her fight she was trying to breathe on her own and her heart started to beat until the very end. She fought until God called our sweet angel home.

After reading this, we urge you to take a moment to tell your loved ones how much you love them. This unimaginable loss of one of her children is overwhelming. During this challenging time we are trying to support her with the overwhelming financial burden of funeral expenses. We are reaching out to the community for help covering these costs. Any donations no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated. If you can’t we ask that you pray for continued strength and guidance as she navigate through this traumatic event.
