Hi, my name is Marcus. I'm writing this with a heavy heart as the proud fur daddy to the most loving, energetic, and joyful 6-year-old dog, Trixie.
On January 15th, our world shattered. What we thought was a simple swollen lymph node was diagnosed as an aggressive form of cancer. We were given the devastating news that without treatment, our vibrant girl may only have a few months left.
Trixie is not just a pet; she's my family, my shadow, and my source of pure joy. She's the one who greets me with her favorite ball every single day, insisting on a game of fetch before anything else. She's a champion cuddler, who believes every couch is her personal throne for snuggles. At only six, she is full of life and love, and the thought of losing her is unbearable.
I have made the commitment to fight for her. Trixie is booked with a veterinary oncologist to begin chemotherapy. This is our chance to give her more time—more runs in the park, more ball throws, and more precious cuddles.
As anyone who has faced a pet's illness knows, specialized cancer treatment is a long and extremely expensive process. The costs for consultations, chemotherapy drugs, and supportive care are daunting.
I am humbly asking for your help. Any contribution, no matter how small, will go directly to Trixie's medical bills and give her a fighting chance. If you cannot donate, please share Trixie's story with your friends and family. Sharing this page is a huge help.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for taking the time to read about my girl. Thank you for your kindness, your support, and for helping me save Trixie.
With immense gratitude, Marcus & Trixie
