Trixie, Pickle, and Bolt a Healthier, Happier Future

update: pickle and trxie are now neutered and spayed!! Kittens have had first round of vaccinations and are due second round soon!! We are desperate for donations to cover food and litter as this is our biggest cost!!

Hi, everyone. We're reaching out for support in helping a sweet, resilient mama cat named Trixie, her young kitten Pickle, and one of her newest little ones, Bolt. Trixie came into our lives as an emergency rescue, and we quickly realized she’d likely been through many litters already, all at a very young age. When we rescued her and Pickle, we planned to get both of them spayed and neutered to give them the stability and care they truly deserve.

Just before her scheduled spay surgery, Trixie escaped and, unfortunately, got pregnant again. Despite our best efforts, we found ourselves with a new litter of kittens who now need love, vaccinations, and care to ensure they stay healthy. It's been a rewarding but financially challenging journey, especially with my own health conditions, which prevent me from working more hours to cover all the costs.

Then, one of her kittens, Bolt, took a sudden turn for the worse and had to be rushed to the vet. The emergency visit alone was £500, and Bolt now needs further tests and possibly surgery to recover fully. Every day is touch-and-go, and we're doing everything we can to keep him comfortable and safe.

Trixie also urgently needs to be spayed as soon as possible to prevent further pregnancies, especially now that Pickle, her own kitten, is reaching maturity. But our funds have been stretched to the limit with the costs of vaccinations, checkups, and Bolt’s ongoing care. We simply can’t do this alone.
