TRISTEN'S TRIBE #2

Hello, my name is Leigh Gideon, and I am Tristen's mama. As most know who will see this, my "T" was in a motorcycle wreck last year on September 8, 2022. He sustained a severe traumatic brain injury that lead us down a road that I thought I would never be on. The injury was so devastating to our family. Our doctors did not think he would ever wake up. They told us of "vent farms" that T could possibly end up in. Again, devasted, was an understatement. People told me that I would have to fight for the care that he would receive. They told me I would have to be his biggest advocate. I put boxing gloves on and stepped into the ring FIGHTING. Tristen is worth fighting for. His life is worth living. My Jesus could have chosen to take him home that day and any day since, BUT, he did not and has not. I want my baby boy back. Not just a little bit, but all the way back. Don't get me wrong, I am truly grateful that he is alive and "doing good, considering what the doctors told us". We have been able to care for Tristen in a way that any parent would want for their child due to the generosity of friends, family, and people we don't even know. And for that I am truly humbled and thankful. It is hard for this mama to ask for help...just ask my husband, but today this mama is asking for your help. There is a clinic in Colorado, called TBI Therapy, that specializes in STEM CELL THERAPY for patients with traumatic brain injuries. I want desperately to take T here. The cost of the treatment is a little over $10,000 for 3 days of treatment. So, I am asking if you can help us to get Tristen to Colorado, I would be forever grateful. I humbly ask for your help.
