Tristen’s Support Team

On Thursday July 14th Tristen was involved in a terrible accident. He was airlifted and “stabilized” at Carle so he could than safely transfer to Northwestern Memorial in Chicago where the severity of his injuries can be best managed. Tristen will need months of ICU, surgeries and eventually rehabilitation care. His parents want nothing more to be with him and to support him every minute of this healing journey, especially now when he is unable to be his own voice.

Unfortunately there are no places for family to stay. No one can stay with him overnight. Hotels near the hospital in the city cost $200+ a night! We’ve looked into a Guest house that will offer a discounted rate and even at 1/4 of the price it’s a taxi or bus ride away, and again they will be there for the unforeseeable future.

We’ve set up this go fund me account to accept donations for Christina and J for lodging, travel, food and whatever else they may need to stay close to Tristen. The only thing they want right now is to support their child and be his advocate while he’s unable.
