Hi! I'm Sarah, and this is my son, Tristan. Tristan developed Lupus Nephritis when he was 9 and over the years, it completely damaged his kidneys. For the last 6 years, he's been on dialysis and working towards meeting the requirements for a kidney transplant.

On Thursday, 7/17/25, he got notified that he had finally been activated on the transplant list. At 5:30am on Friday, 7/18/25, he got a call that a kidney was available. The kidney was transplanted on Friday and things seem to be going well.

With the transplant comes a lot of appointments and expenses that aren't covered by insurance. As his mom, I'm his support person and need to attend these appointments with him. In doing so, I'll be missing work. As a contract worker, if I don't work, I'm not paid. In turn, this makes it difficult to afford these expenses.

I'm asking for donations to help cover the expenses that aren't covered by insurance and to help cover my lost time at work so that I can help get him where he needs to go.

Tristan is a great guy who has been dealing with these medical issues for almost 20 years. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
