Tristan's Family Support

On Thursday 12/17/21, my nephew Tristan was walking home when he was struck by a drunk driver. It was a hit and run, and luckily there were witnesses. He was immediately sent to the emergency room and is still in the ICU. Unfortunately, Tristan went into a coma and hasn’t woken up.
It was his last semester at Chico State during finals week, with his last final being on Friday the day after he was hit. He majored in Mechanical Engineering and was a member of the Alpha Sigma Phi brotherhood. Tristan had an engineering job lined up for him and was supposed to start in the beginning of the new year. On top of that, today is his 24th birthday. He had his whole life ahead of him but his life is now on pause.
Tristan has a heart of gold and has always been active in his church and community. He has led outreach trips to Mexico, Cambodia, and the Philippines where they fed the homeless, repaired buildings, and taught kids different games and music. He also took it upon himself to give the kids haircuts.
His charitable efforts extend to the local Chico State community. Tristan volunteered and raised money for the Butte Humane Society and volunteers feeding individuals at the homeless shelter and passing out masks while the fires up north were happening.
During a time in his life when most people his age are living it up during their final days in college, Tristan used his time to lift up others, and now we hope you can lift him up by sharing his story.
