Tristan's campaign for Help Musicians

Like a lot of people in the music industry my plans for 2020 have been completely stifled by the Coronavirus pandemic, at a time when i should be busy touring the world I have decided to take positive action and make an unaided solo journey across France by bicycle.

Dizzy Gillespie
My plan is to raise funds by cycling from London, England to Nice, France which is a total distance of 820 miles. Equivalent to 4 marathons per day for 8 consecutive days. I hope to complete the journey in 8 days by traveling 102 miles per day, i will also be carrying everything i need to survive in this time on the bike with me (apart from food and water) that said there is a possibility that if all is well and i am able to, i will continue into italy and end the journey in Rome for an extension to the original challenge. I will confirm the date that i can commence and am able to travel to the continent (first week of July at the earliest).

I decided that i would make this journey a vehicle to support Help Musicians as they have been and continue to help people like me and so many other struggling musicians at this extremely difficult time, the earning capacity of many of my fellow professional musicians has been vapourized for the last 4 months and the knock on effect will continue for the rest of 2020 and beyond.
I look forward to post regular updates of my journey to all my social media platforms.
