Tristan Yver Medical Fund

Donation protected
As many of us now know, our dear friend Tristan Yver is battling a bacterial disease called Leptospirosis. For those who dont know what that is - A bacterial disease that is passed from
animals to humans. Rats and mice are the
most important sources in Hawaii. Domestic
and wild animals such as rodents,
mongooses, pigs, cattle, livestock and dogs
can also transmit the disease. Leptospirosis
is found worldwide but is more common in
tropical areas like Hawaii. Leptospira
bacteria can live for long periods in fresh
water and mud.
We believe that he caught this while swimming in Maunawili Falls on oahu a little over a week and a half ago. He is currently in critical condition but getting better. His mom and other family members are with him in the ICU on Oahu. He is in an induced coma due to having trouble breathing and is on a ventilator. Although this sounds bad, he is on the up swing and his vital signs are getting better.

This Fund is being put together to create a nest egg for him and his mom once tristan recovers from this illness. It will go towards rent, phone bills, insurance etc, as well as helping his mom out. She has flown all the way from Chile.

Anything and everything helps
Whether you can donate $1 or $100, this is a time of need for a very special person who has impacted many of our lives in the best way possible. I know that Tristan would help you if the tables were turned, Lets help him!

Much love to everyone, lets keep Tristan in our thoughts and in our prayers for a speedy and healthy recovery.
