Tristan with medical expenses

Aloha, my name is Tristan Reyes. I am a father of two and a husband to an amazing woman. This past February 2024, I was a victim of an assault which resulted in me going to the ER. I left the hospital with 17 stitches to my face and a missing front tooth. The assailant was a good friend of mine who I believed was trying to do their best to stay on track and get back on their feet. However, they decided to betray me, and I have since been living with pity and forgiveness for them. There is no way for someone like them to be able to afford going through court and paying me any sort of restitution. I apologize to anyone that I had kept a secret to about all of my facial damage these past several months. Holding my head up high in the face of adversity is a trait that I carry and teach to my children daily. Besides, I have never been one known to live with a bitter heart.

One thing I do know is that I cannot live well with this expense. Now even more so, since I found out that my wife was going through some medical challenges of her own. She was diagnosed with having malignant breast tissue after having an ultrasound that discovered the mass, and then surgery. No sign of cancer (!), but that surgery alone was pricey, and still more follow ups to come for her.

Long story short, my medical visit to that hospital cost me $2500 for them to resuscitate me and stitch up my face. I have been having blurred vision, and that has cost around $400 for my optometry visits. Lastly, the root extraction, bone graft procedure to rebuild my alveolar ridge, and the implant for another tooth is $3400. All of these costs are out of pocket and after insurance was adjusted.

I'm basically looking to find help with the $6500 plus in medical bills. I need to have these funds so that I can help my wife, Krystal, with household needs and supporting her through her medical endeavor, which is far worse than mine and can become terminal.
