Tristan Penn Kicks Cancer

December 1, 2021 started out like any typical Wednesday. The weather was beautiful and pleasantly warm for it being winter time in Memphis, TN. Christmas decorations are going up in full force and people have that holiday cheer that just makes you feel warm and fuzzy. Little did we know that our world was about to be completely turned upside down. What started out as a heads up turned into a hell of a discovery and diagnosis for Tristan.

Within 24 hours of her being in the ER in Florida, we learned that she has cancer. High risk B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia to be exact. Tristan and her mom will be living in the hospital for a few weeks while she receives treatments. Although the goal is for her to be able to have out patient treatments, the next several months are going to be mentally, physically and financially exhausting. In the meantime, Chris will be holding down the homestead and making the commute from TN to FL as often as possible. They have a long road ahead of them and this new journey has been an emotional roller coaster ride already but those of us who know Tristan and her family, know that she has an amazing support system and we are ALL gearing up for this fight! From the bottom of our hearts, thank you!
