We humbly ask for your help...
History...Tristan's dad beat cancer...but through that we were left in overwhelming debt, and ended up having to file Chapter 13...that is the gist of why we need help. We pay a large sum each month for another 3 years on top of our regular expenses.
Who...Tristan is our amazing 10 year old son! He is smart, witty, and handsome (naturally we are biased). Academically he has always excelled, but socially has hit some hurdles dealing with bullying and overall a rough time...especially since we moved. Recently Tristan received a scholarship to an amazing school, Hillside Academy. He has already shown significant improvement and LOVES it there. (It is also where I work).
Tristan's class is taking an amazing trip to Washington D.C. The cost covers all expenses. It is not only a great time with his classmates, but a great chance to not just learn, but experience history and learn more about our country.
We need to raise funds ASAP...but placing a Feb. deadline to have a solid date.
For Tristan to be able to go on this trip would mean so very much. Our kids have had to give up a lot. Thank you so very much for considering this.
