Tristan Andrew Gibbs fight with brain cancer

Story

Tristan is 10 years old. He has recurred with brain cancer (Anaplastic Ependymoma). He was originally diagnosed at the age of 3, and had clear scans from 2013 until his last MRI on 3 October, where 2 tumors were found on his brain. I am a single mom, and Tristan’s father refuses to pay his half of Tristan’s copays, so I will be covering all of his copays and out of pocket expenses for travel, etc on my own. It will cost us almost 2,000.00 in copays alone for his proton therapy and oncology appointments, plus any time I am going to be on leave without pay. Tristan’s oncologist believes his treatment will take 8 to 12 months to complete, some of which I will have to be on leave without pay.  It would not be possible for us to survive financially without my income.  Tristan will be traveling to MD Anderson for proton therapy, then there is the possibility he will receive chemotherapy again.
