Hi guys. My name is Trisha Zayas and I work for SRMC. Many of you know me and some of you may not. I am a wife and a mother of 3 one son, and 2 bonus daughters. In the last month our world was shattered when I found out that I have been diagnosed June 6th with Invasive Carcinoma breast cancer. The unknown is so scary for my family and I at this time. Hearing the word cancer is enough to bring the strongest person to their knees. On top of finding out that I have cancer, on Father’s Day I passed out playing putt putt and I fell really hard face first to the concrete causing a contusion.  With my nose & blacking both of my eyes. We won’t know more about the extent of my new injuries until some of my swelling subsides and I can get another MRI scan to see how bad the damage is when I took that bad fall. I have never been the kind of person who asks for help. Ive always been the Giver. So I had to swallow a lot of pride. I been working what I can but Right now, I’ll be going back to work till surgery then I am out of work for 6 to 8 weeks and all we have is the income of my husband who has been my rock during all of this.As well as my kids, mom, and family. We all know trying to make it these days and in this time is hard and it’s even harder with only one income. I am doing a go fund me for myself and my family in hopes that maybe I can take some stress off of myself and from my husband at this difficult time. Anything helps. God is Good! June 28th I’ll be meeting with my plastic surgeon! Will update more on that after the visit!
