If you have known Tricia you know that she is a caring, vivacious and creative spirit.  Over the last few years, however, Trish has endured countless and ongoing severe loss and trauma,  including  the closing of her home daycare, her fiancee dying and her father (who she was caring for) dying of cancer among others. Trish is a single mother of three and is currently hospitalized for severe depression and will remain in hospital for at least the next few weeks.

We, her friends, are reaching out to her community for support. One of the major struggles Trish is facing right now while trying to focus on her mental health is the extreme financial distress of raising three children and trying not to lose their home. One of the bright points in their lives has been her eldest son Ethan's amazing skills in gymnastics. This 12 year old has recently competed at the provinical level. His goal is to compete at the Olympics.
It costs more than $500 a month for Ethan to train at Champion Gymnastics in Peterborough, which is the only place locally that offers gymnastics training for boys. The payment for September is due at the end of August.

We are posting this gofundme page as Tricia's friends, who have been on the receiving end of such endless kindness and support from her.  We hope to raise funds for her and the kids to help ease some of her acute financial distress and allow her to focus more on her treatment and recovery.
