Hi my name is Iya Martin I am setting up this go fund me page for my best friend Trishana who recently passed away suddenly.
I need support for Trishana family in raising funds to pay for Trishana ‘s funeral arrangements and for support to help raise her two little boys.

Trishana was a young vibrant, aspiring, and inspiring 26 year old with a bright future ahead of her. Trishana was known a an old soul in a young person body. Trishana was wise beyond her years and set the presidency for so many young people that looked up to her.
Trishana was driven to help people she was driven with so much passion.
All her roles that she worked in was centred around support from residential children in care, teaching assistant, homeless advisor, safeguarding lead and family support Trishana was always there to help.
Trishana was such a breath of fresh air to be around always worried about others before herself. Her smile could lift a million souls everyone that had the opportunity to know her would immediately see how gifted she was.

Trishana’s dream was to buy her own land in Jamaica and have her own farm and school where she could lead a run a community that had schools on land. Teach African culture, dancing and the practice of spirituality. Her main passion was the children. She wanted to pave the way for the children to have somewhere to learn to grow a place where they could feel safe and had futures to look forward to.
Trishana graduated with a social work degree passed her driving test, was living independently and was a mother all before the age 23.
one of her greatest achievements to Trishana was when she became a mother to her first son who is now 4 years old. He was her little king she lived for him and his future. Trishana who suffered with polycystic ovaries struggled to get pregnant and was loosing hope until she was blessed with her first son.

In Late 2021 Trishana found out she was pregnant for the 2nd time which she was really excited about. Unfortunately this joy was disrupted when she discovered a lump in her breast followed by nipple discharge. Trishana was almost 4 months along in her pregnancy when she was diagnosed with metastasis breast cancer. metastasis breast cancer is a hormonal cancer that can start in one part of the body but can spread to over parts. Trishana was given a life expectancy of 5 years because the condition was terminal
Trishana had the option to terminate her pregnancy but Trishana was determined to keep her pregnancy and was also prepare to fight this disease.
After have a mastectomy on one of her breast Trishana had to have an early delivery of her 2nd son Trishana started Chemo therapy.
After Trishana finished Chemo and after a few months of checks Trishana was placed in remission’s which she was elated with.
Unfortunately this was short lived.
In February this year Trishana started experiencing headaches that were on and off for at least 3 weeks so she decided to mention it at her oncologist appointment. A scan was done within a couple of days after her oncologist appointment, which is where she was told that the cancer had spread to the brain.
Trishana again put her soldier cap on and was ready for the mission. Trishana carried a smile regardless and her good energy was infectious you would never know what lonely battle she was up against.
Trishana just went with it even when she lost her hair she was still upbeat and brave never once complained continued. Trishana yearn so much to go to Jamaica which was her dream. She wanted to return home as she would call to show her kings Jamaica. She was looking forward to eating her red apple, mango’s and to ready to become healthier and wealthier.
This was meant to happen on the 2nd June unfortunately Trishana condition deteriorated and she passed away peacefully on 5th June. Even through her deterioration she still hoped she would go to Jamaica.
Trishana told friends she family that when she dies she wants to be buried under a mango tree not knowing it would be so soon.
Trishana didn’t even make it to her 2nd sons first birthday which is next week which is very heart breaking.
The family want to bring Jamaica to Trishana when we celebrate her life.
Trishana will be missed by many and we just want to celebrate her funeral as she lived peacefully and happily.
We need to support the family to help raise Trishana 2 kings.
please share and support Trishana’s family and friends with her funeral costs thank you.
